I am an avid runner and triathlete, completing four full ironmans, twelve marathons, countless half ironmans, olympic distance triathlons, half marathons and numerous other road races. While I love endurance sports I also try to always maintain balance with weight training, yoga, pilates, plyometric and resistance training. In addition, I believe in using nutrition to help me achieve my athletic goals. That means looking at peer reviewed studies to understand how macro and micronutrients work with our physiology and not just following the latest fad diet.
