Hey! I’m Holly and I am an osteopathic physician, runner, triathlete, and fitness and nutrition enthusiast. I am board certified in nephrology and internal medicine, so health is at the forefront of everything I do. I also have a bachelors degree in dietetics and am a certified personal trainer with NASM-PES certification, just reinforcing how important I believe nutrition and fitness go hand in hand with medicine and wellness.

I am an avid runner and triathlete, completing four full ironmans, twelve marathons, countless half ironmans, olympic distance triathlons, half marathons and numerous other road races. While I love endurance sports I also try to always maintain balance with weight training, yoga, pilates, plyometric and resistance training. In addition, I believe in using nutrition to help me achieve my athletic goals. That means looking at peer reviewed studies to understand how macro and micronutrients work with our physiology and not just following the latest fad diet.

I am dedicated to everything fitness! From endurance and cardiovascular to strength and resistance training, I believe in a balanced approach to maintaining physical fitness. Its finding something you love and making it part of your daily routine.

Wellness is a word that is often tossed around. To me, it is the combination of physical, mental, and emotional well being. It’s finding the right balance in life to live to your fullest potential.

Proper nutrition is essential to a healthy lifestyle. There is no one size fits all path to nutrition and there is no secret “diet” that you should follow. But there are certain basic tenets to follow based on your lifestyle that can help you attain your health goals.
